It seemed as if the dark blue sky almost surrounded the house itself. The midnight air was still varm, but a cool breeze was blowing in from the waters. The stars were glittering and the moon lit up the porch. In the far corner there was a bench and at the end of it was a woman hinding in the dark. Only a feeble ray of the moonlight hit her and if you walked by the house chances are you would have missed her.

A/N: So my mom had this headcanon thing a while back when Cas said yes to Lucifer and I am just kinda playing around with that a little bit and kinda took a joking angle to it - but I am in love with the idea so I may use it somehow in a later fic. Maybe a Cas x reader one. Who knows :)

The Littlest Winchester - Angel Sitter
Castiel doesn’t exactly have any natural instincts to fall back on when it comes to children. Any knowledge he has of interacting with very young humans comes from watching Dean raise his four-year-old daughter, and yet the Winchester trusts his friend’s capability enough to let the angel babysit for extended periods of time.
Week one has just come to an end. It went by fairly well, the only issues being the two nights the toddler couldn’t sit still long enough to eat dinner or the one time she simply didn’t want to go to bed. At night Dean calls her to let her tell him about her day and remind

The Littlest Winchester - Shots
As independent as Sam is when he gets sick, a scenario such as that isn’t something Dean wants to deal with. That being said, he also doesn’t want a sick and miserable four-year-old on his hands. After a bout with the flu last year that had both brothers and the toddler bedridden at some point, Dean became proactive when flu season rolled around again, which explains why all three family members are sitting in the makeshift waiting room of a high school. Having faked some paperwork, they got themselves in line for free flu shots set up by the Red Cross or something.
They end up in different rooms, Dean wit

The Littlest Winchester - Birthday Girl
“Daddy!” In the early morning hours, Dean is woken by the sound of the quiet yet urgent voice of a four-year-old. “Daddy! Wake up!”
“What?” He mumbles without stirring.
“Guess what day it is!” She exclaims, still mostly quiet.
“Saturday?”
“No!”
“No idea then.” He adjusts his head on the pillow.
“It’s my birthday!”
“Mhm. So it is. What time is it?” Dean opens his eyes enough to glance at the clock on the nightstand. “Baby gi

The Littlest Winchester - Disciplinary Action
Most of the time, Dean’s four-year-old daughter is pretty well-behaved. She does what she’s told for the most part and typically has a good attitude, and in those times Dean has a hard time believing that parenting could ever be difficult. But it can be.
“Daddy, look!” The toddler announces her presence as she enters the kitchen. “I’m gonna hunt monsters!”
Curious, Dean turns around, startled to see her in a bad fighting stance with the demon blade firmly in her grasp. Reacting instantly, he jumps up and tries to take it from her, but she dashes away, laughing gle

The Littlest Winchester - Princess Tea Party
Author's Note: I changed the title a bit because this story is going to be part of a set called The Littlest Winchester, much like the way I set up Patchwork Hunter. These do not have to be read in any particular order.
“Daddy! No!” The four-year-old grabs the empty plastic cup from Dean’s hand and rather forcefully sets it back on the play table. “It’s not ready yet!”
“But what if I’m thirsty?”
“You gotta wait.” She crosses her arms and glares at him.
“Gosh, you’re bossy.”
This makes the little

The Littlest Winchester - Uncle Sam
With the amount of energy she’s displaying, Sam’s glad he took his niece out of the bunker. For ten minutes straight she tore around the wooden play structure, laughing like there’s no tomorrow. Sam’s perfectly okay with chasing her; he just has to depend on his long arms to reach her when she corners herself in the nooks that are much too small for him.
“Faster, Sammy! Faster!” The four-year-old squeals delightedly as her uncle spins her as fast as he dares on the tire swing. Clutching the chains suspending the tire, she laughs as Sam spins her just a bit faster at her request.

The Littlest Winchester - Curse Words
At four years old Dean’s daughter has heard her share of coarse language. Nothing too vulgar. No, Dean keeps his colorful vocabulary more gray-toned around the little girl. Dean isn’t too worried about the toddler swearing. Chances are she’ll end up doing it anyway, so his goal is to make sure she knows when cussing is and is not okay.
For example, when Dean asked her to bring him his sandwich the other day, she replied with a blunt ‘no’. Upon asking why, Dean was told ‘because you are a grown ass man who can get his own damn sandwich’. Now, in that instance, her choice of wor

The Littlest Winchester - Lullaby
After the Impala broke down with no hope for an easy fix, Dean had called for a mechanic to come and tow the car. By the time they had reached the shop, his four-year-old daughter had been fussy and whiny and tired because it was late, so he’d put Sam in charge of her and told his brother to take her back to the motel and put her to bed while he dealt with the car problem.
When the Winchester walks into the motel, the little girl is half asleep in his arms, but she perks up when he lays her on the bed.
“Where’s Daddy?” She inquires.
“Taking care of the car. You n

The Littlest Winchester - Some Kind of Normal
“Hey, it’s time to get up.” Dean plops himself down on the bed beside his sleeping four-year-old daughter. “Rise and shine.”
The little girl stirs but doesn’t get up, so Dean starts rubbing her back to rouse her.
“Come on. You can’t leave me alone with Sam all day.”
“No . . .” She mumbles and squirms away from his touch.
“Yes. You need to get up, baby girl.”
This time there’s no response. Dean rubs more vigorously and with both hands, pulling the blankets away from her body as he does
SO I am working hard on getting Letting Go finished for ya :) I kinda hope to get it done before they decide to kill Claire or something horrible like that in the show. Lol not that I am following Canon to a tee but that would kinda mess with my head...
